Here is a selection of some of what I currently have to offer. All of the pieces below are designed by Douglas Frey and made in his studio.
The rock paintings of Northern Saskatchewan are the inspiration for the silver and gold jewelry pieces. The ancestors of today's northern Cree were the artists who created these paintings from 300 to 2000 years ago. Animals, humans, mythical and abstract figures were painted in red ochre on the lake and riverside Precambrian cliff faces of northern Canada. The places and paintings were part of the spiritual life of these people.
